What do you think a large scale Satanic ritual would look like? Would there be a winged Satan baby flying around? Would a goat man hump wildly in front of world leaders? If you answered 'yes' to these questions, then you're ready to watch the Gotthard Tunnel Opening Ceremony. Co-host Nile and friends of the podcast Scott, Garrett, and Jules, however, were not fully prepared. This week we had a party 'cast in which we all witnessed the infamous opening ceremony to Switzerland's Gotthard Base Tunnel, a strange theatrical performance full of bizarre imagery, goat-based drama, and a bunch of great asses.
Hello Weirdos and welcome to the much-anticipated It Gets Weird / Pop Culture Role Call crossover! This week Collin, Stas, and Mike from the Pop Culture Role Call crew take over It Gets Weird to discuss the Phantom of Croglin Grange! The vampire-slaying crew not only discusses a classic vampire story, but also dip their toes in topics such as pirate jokes, spooky scary graveyards, and how to keep up with the sun in a running contest. Will this podcast change your life forever? You'll have to listen to find out.
Don't forget to leave them a like and a review! Thanks so much to the Pop Culture Role Call crew for having this crossover with us! If you wanna hear the Weird Boys on the Pop Culture Role Call Show, you can check that out right here.

Also we discuss unicorn cereal, Alex Jones (who gets a hand on this ball), and our own getaways.

We dive into the urban legends, the weird habits, abilities, and mating rituals of the creature.
For this episode of It Gets Weird we tackled the show Occult Crimes (suggested by @catesstrophic on twitter) and all the gory, poorly reenacted death it had to offer. In the two episodes we watched we became acquainted with the Children of Thunder and the Order of the Solar Temple. The Children of Thunder were a trio of religious zealots who wanted to bring down the Church of Latter Day Saints but couldn't even handle a bank transaction while the Order of the Solar Temple followed a con man as he tried to make a legend out of himself and send people to a paradise planet if they would just get rid of their earthly bodies.
